Matthew Antoci
they/them/theirs
Andrei, Dramaturgy Team, Voice & Speech Team, Website Team

Matthew is excited to make their Digital Devising Debut in this new construction of Three Sisters. Some of their most memorable theatre performances include Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, et al. in I Am My Own Wife and multiple credits from Connecticut Repertory Theatre, including If We Were Birds (King Pandion), Shakespeare in Love (Fennyman), As You Like It (Adam), and The Cherry Orchard (Simeonov-Pischik), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Station Policeman/Reverend Peters). Matthew likes to wear many hats creatively: they coach voice, sing, direct, and produce their own work. Matthew directed the first Cinnamon Summer Series production, Much Ado about Nothing, on the UConn Storrs campus in the summer of 2019, and recently served as dialect captain in CRT’s production of Curious Incident. Having grown up as gay and genderqueer in the Deep South, their passions range from reimagining classical texts through a queer lens to creating high-octane, lip sync performances in drag. Black Lives Matter.
